Ralph is a true survivor. He was found poisoned, bleeding from the mouth, and we feared the worst. We were preparing to let him go - until the vet told us there was one last chance to save him: a blood transfusion. That chance came thanks to Bush, another one of our shelter cats, who became his lifesaving donor. Since then, the two have been like blood siblings - often seen close to each other, as if they know just how special their bond is. Ralph is still a little skittish, but he's a happy, chatty boy who loves the garden and always answers when you call his name. We're so glad he made it - life at the shelter just wouldn't be the same without him.
